These files are from his murattal style recordings in the transmission of Hafs ‘an ‘Asim in the way of Shâtibiyyah. Of particular interest is the way this Sheikh chooses to recite 12:11.
The Sheikh is looked upon as a scholar and teacher of recitation, and he was involved in the Medinah prints of the musshafs in the transmissions of Hafs (al-Kufî), Warsh (al-Madanî) and ad-Dûri (al-Basrî). He is also a teacher of fiqh in the University of Medînah
There are two recordings of the entire Qur’ân available by this Sheikh: tarteel in the transmission of Hafs ‘an ‘Asim and tarteel in the transmission of Qâlûn ‘an Nâfi’.
